Honolulu Waldorf School

The Honolulu Waldorf School site we built in 2005 replaced a static web site that had become difficult to update.

When we first turned toward looking at upgrade options for the school's existing website, the original "flat page" site featured a javascript rollover link system that had become outdated. It was impossible to add new links easily.

Various wsiwyg programs had been used to create site pages - some that left quite a bit of proprietary markup inside the code. Very messy.

We researched and implemented a content management system suited to the schools' requirements.

The upgraded site featured the ability for office staff to update ALL content pages, an alumni forum, and an admissions form sending result to the schools' registration system.

The site enjoyed a gradual boost in search engine ranking while we were hosting and maintaining the site content, mainly through extracting content from the school newsletters and adding them to the site as on-page community news items on a regular basis.

Currently, the school is updating and hosting the site in-house and we are not involved with it's current incarnation.
